Molecular inputs
The calculator runs entirely in your web browser. SMILES strings, method choices, structures and results are processed on your own device by the calculation engine that your browser downloads with the page. They are not sent to our server, not logged and not stored by us. If you use Copy result or Download JSON, the data goes only to your clipboard or your device.
Uploaded files
When you choose a MOL, SDF or XYZ file, your browser reads it locally. The file is not uploaded to our server. It stays in the page's memory until you remove it, reload the page or close the tab.
Contact form data
When you send a message, your name, email address, subject and message are sent to our server. They are stored in the website's database, which can be read only by the site administrator, and a copy is sent by email to the administrator's mailbox so that we can reply. We use the information only to answer your message and do not sell or share it. To limit abuse, the form keeps a short-lived, anonymized counter of how many messages a connection has sent in the last hour; it does not store your IP address itself.
Analytics
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and does not build profiles of visitors.
Cookies
Ordinary visitors receive no cookies from this website. WordPress sets technical cookies only for the site administrator when logged in. Because no non-essential cookies are used, no cookie banner is shown.
Third-party services
- Hosting: the website is hosted by Hostinger, whose servers and content delivery network process your IP address and request details to deliver pages.
- Email: contact form notifications are delivered through the hosting server's mail system to the administrator's email provider.
- Fonts and scripts: fonts and the calculation engine are served from this website itself. No requests are made to external font, script or analytics services.
Retention
Contact messages are deleted automatically 12 months after they are received, or sooner on request. Calculator inputs are never collected, so there is nothing to retain. Server access logs are kept by the hosting provider according to its own retention practice.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to a data protection authority. For contact form data, the legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in answering your message. Requests can be made through the contact page.
